Reading and Viewing Check

4. Pearl Harbor- The twist ending would be how Alfred Preis was the man who designed the U.S.S. Arizona memorial even though he himself was one of the many victims who was locked up into a camp and treated horribly after the attack on Pearl Harbor.

Reading and Viewing Check

1. Lives Lost- Dotson uses stand up in the story to allow his audience to visualize what each of the girls did in their school gym. Dotson was in the school gym talking about the girls actions that us as viewers had to visualize. The techniques he used to get soundbites include the non-question question and the rule of threes.

2. Cave Rescue- My favorite line was the open when Dotson wrote, "Imagine slithering through a cave-a mile and a half long-climbing up a thousand foot maze dragging a broken leg," because I have broken my leg before and can't imagine doing that.

3. Ruby Bridges- Dotson uses setting by making sure he had all the correct camera shots. One that was a wide shot of the classroom, another of her feet, an third of her looking out the window and a fourth low angle shot of her face. He uses foreshadowing by mentioning the classroom as being a prison for Ruby and a picture that makes the room look like a prison is shown. Dotson uses conflict when talking about the huge crowd of people rioting in front of Ruby's school. He uses character growth by showing Ruby first as just a normal little six year old girl then how much she was forced to mature to everything bad that had affected her. Finally Dotson uses resolution by bring up how Ruby has been helping other kids out and the conflict has been resolved.

"Lives Lost"

An example from the story of the rules of three would be when Bob Dotson asks "What are you going to miss the most about these four people?" and Michael responds saying, "Nataile's smile... Personality... Always lending a helping hand."

Classmates Videos

Video One
1. Angela Johnson-Silence the Violence
2. She incorperated her slogan very well through all of the pictures, quotes and music.
3. I think she did a good job using the Premiere skills we all learned in class because she had certain photos fading in and out and had others spiral out showing that she used the skills we learned.
4. I think her video was very interesting. She picked great music to play in the background and chose all of her pictures well.
5. It was 29 seconds long

Video Two
1. Will Biernat-Simply Will
2. He did a good job of incorperating his slogan through the text he placed on certain pictures.
3. I think he did a really good job using the skill learned in class and showed that through all the text he put on his pictures
4. He did a good job keeping it interesting and I liked how he had two different songs in his video. 5. It was 29 seconds long

Video Three
1. Jake Mehring-Jake Bakes Cakes
2. He incorperated his slogan throughout his entire video
3. He could have had more of a variety of different effects but he did have a good amount of ways he had the X appear on the screen.
4. His video was very clever.
5. It was 29 seconds long

Video Four
1. Ross Lundholm- Ross the Boss
2. He did a good job incorperating his slogan in his video.
3. He used a large amount of different effects in his video.
4. His video was interesting to watch and he did a good job timing everything so a picture wasn't up too long.
5. It was 29 seconds long.

Video Five
1. Mikayla Pullin-The Worst Mistakes Make the Best Memories
2. She did a good job incorperating her slogan in her video by showing pictures with her friends that are her favorite memories.
3. She could have used a few more cool effects in her video but overall it was made well.
4. Her video was interesting and she did a good job finding a lot of different photos to use.
5. It was 30 seconds long.

Tiger Woods Reaction

After watching the video of Tiger Wood's speech I feel that I'm not really sure whether to believe what he is saying to be genuine or not. I question whether he even wrote the speech himself. As a fan I would feel very confused. I wouldn't know whether or not I could go back to cheering for him or if I should see his previous actions as too horrible to forgive. I do believe that everyone deserves forgiveness if they are worthy for it. As a reporter I can't help but question if he only gave his speech because his manager told him it would be necessary in order for him to be able to play again. I would also be wondering why now after so many months he finally decided to speak out.
