Superbowl Commercials

Commercial #1-Snickers park football game
Company-Snickers
Target Audience-anyone who can eat a snickers bar
Persuasive method-humor, action
Slogan/message: You're not you when you're hungry, snickers satisfies.
Effective?-Yes because it caught the viewers attention

Commercial #2-Whale of a tale
Company-Bridgestone
Target Audience-anyone who can drive and has a car
Persuasive method-humor, action
Slogan/message: For drivers who want to get the most out of their car it's bridgestone or nothing.
Effective?-Yes because you were curious to see what would happen in the commercial and what it would be about.

Commercial #3-Dr Love-Little KISS
Company-Dr Pepper
Target Audience-Teens and adults
Persuasive method-humor, celebrity interest
Slogan/message-You can be a little KISS. Trust me, I'm a doctor.
Effective?-No, KISS is not a current super popular band so by having them try to sell people cherry dr pepper is not effective.

Commercial #4-Doritos snack attack samurai
Company-Doritos
Target audience-teenagers
Persuasive method-humor
Slogan/message-People will do crazy things because of their extreme love for Doritos
Effective?-Yes, I thought it was very clever and interesting.

Commercial #5-Fiddling Beaver
Company-Monster.com
Target Audience-People looking for a job
Persuasive method-humor
Slogan/message-Get a monster advantage
Effective?-Kind of. I was curious because I didn't know what the purpose of the commercial was but I don't think it was very effective overall.

MY OWN SLOGAN-Be the person you want to be and don't let anything set you back.
